Cyfeiriadau Personol:

  1. Roedd cynghorwyr ward Bronglais yn ysgrifennu at Gomisiynydd yr Heddlu a'r Bartneriaeth Diogelwch Cymunedol ynghylch ymateb amhriodol a gofidus yr heddlu i gyhuddiad maleisus a hiliol yn ymwneud â phreswylydd.

  1. Roedd y Cynghorydd Mark Strong wedi cael ei daro gan lori sbwriel Ceredigion Waste Services ym mhen uchaf y dref oherwydd bod y lori yn rhy fawr ar gyfer maint y stryd, gan godi pryderon ynghylch diogelwch cerddwyr.

  1. Roedd y Cynghorydd Mark Strong wedi cysylltu â Chyngor Ceredigion ynghylch syniadau storio gwastraff. Roedd y Clerc hefyd wedi cysylltu â nhw ynghylch gwerthu bagiau storio sbwriel ail ddefnydd a gwrth-wylan trwy fanwerthwyr lleol.

Personal references:

  1. Bronglais ward councillors were writing to the Police Commissioner and the Community Safety Partnership regarding an inappropriate and upsetting police response to a malicious and racist accusation involving a resident.

  1. Cllr Mark Strong had been hit by a Ceredigion Waste Services refuse lorry in the top of town due to the lorry being too large for the size of the street, raising concerns regarding pedestrian safety.

  1. Cllr Mark Strong had liaised with Ceredigion Council regarding waste storage ideas. The Clerk had also liaised with them regarding selling reusable and gull proof refuse storage bags via local retailers.

Planning Applications

5.1

A210543: Hampden, Felin y Môr

DIM GWRTHWYNEBIAD mewn egwyddor ond mae gan y Cyngor y pryderon dwfn canlynol:

  • Ydy’r ffordd fynediad yn gallu cario pwysau lorïau yn ystod yr adeiladu?
  • Mae’r eidddo yn edrych dros dai eraill islaw
  • A fydd yr eiddo yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel tŷ gwyliau yn y dyfodol

Mae'r Cyngor Tref yn croesawu'r defnydd o ddrysau a ffenestri pren

A210543: Hampden, Felin y Môr

NO OBJECTION in principle but Council has the following deep concerns:

  • is the access road able to carry the weight of lorries during the build?
  • The property overlooks other houses below
  • Will it be used as a holiday let in the future

The Town Council welcomes the use of timber doors and windows

5.2

A210575/6: Maes parcio Eglwys Mihangel Sant

DIM GWRTHWYNEBIAD ond hoffai'r Cyngor Tref weld:

  • arwyneb eco-gyfeillgar mwy athraidd yn lle tarmac ee briciau concrit sy'n caniatáu tyfiant
  • mwy o wyrddni ee plannu cwpl o goed brodorol

A210575/6: St Michael’s Church car park

NO OBJECTION but the Town Council would like to see:

  • A more permeable eco-friendly surface instead of tarmac eg concrete bricks which allow growth
  • more greenery eg a couple of native trees planted

5.3

A210610: 5 Stryd Sior

DIM GWRTHWYNEBIAD. Mae'r Cyngor Tref yn croesawu'r newid o HMO i fflatiau, a'r cyfleuster storio gwastraff, ond hoffai weld ardal storio beiciau a mynediad i’r ardd i’r ddwy fflat yn cael ei gynnwys os yn bosibl.

A210610: 5 George Street

NO OBJECTION. The Town Council welcomes the change from a HMO to flats, and the waste storage facility, but would like to see a bike storage area and access to the garden for both flats included if possible.

5.4

A210556: Ty Belgrave, 24 Glan y Môr

Mae'r Cyngor YN GWRTHWYNEBU’R cais hwn yn gryf fel a nodwyd o’r blaen ac yn erbyn dymchwel adeilad rhestredig Gradd II amlwg.

Mae’r cynlluniau yn dangos:

  • nad yw’r gwydr lliw gwreiddiol ar y llawr gwaelod wedi'i adfer.
  • bod pileri wedi'u lledaenu portico yr Aifft wedi cael eu sythu
  • Fod y corbelu ar goll o'r bondo
  • nad yw'r ffenestri i fyny'r grisiau yr un peth â'r rhai gwreiddiol ac mae ganddynt lai o fanylion pensaerniol
  • Mae'r bibell ddraenio haearn rhwng y ffenestri ar flaen yr adeilad ar goll

I ailadrodd ymateb blaenorol y Cyngor:

  • Dylai'r wal gerrig hanesyddol gael ei hailadeiladu'n ddilys gan ddefnyddio carreg draddodiadol yn hytrach no blociau cement.
  • Dylid adfer y ffenestri gwreiddiol a'r gwydr lliw.
  • Dylai'r gwaith gael ei wneud mewn ymgynghoriad â CADW a Henebion a Hanesyddol Cymru gan gyfeirio at ddelweddau archif er mwyn adfer manylion gwreiddiol
  • Dylai Cyngor Sir Ceredigion orfodi'r uchod i atal datblygwyr eraill rhag cyflawni camau tebyg.

A210556: Ty Belgrave, 24 Marine Terrace

As previously noted the Council STRONGLY OBJECTS to this application, and the demolition of a prominent, historic Grade II listed building.

These plans show that:

  • the original stained glass on the ground floor has not been reinstated.
  • the splayed pillars of the Egyptian portico have been straightened
  • the corbells are missing from the eaves
  • The upstairs windows are not the same as the original and have less architectural detail
  • The cast iron downpipe between the windows at the front is missing

To reiterate the Council’s previous response:

  • The historic stone wall should be rebuilt authentically using traditional stone as opposed to breezeblock.
  • The original windows and stained glass should be reinstated.
  • The work should be carried out in consultation with CADW and Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales with reference to archive images in order to reinstate original details.
  • Ceredigion County Council should enforce the above to deterr other developers from carrying out similar actions.
