·         Llongyfarchwyd gwraig y Cyng. Carl Worrall, Pam, a oedd wedi cynrychioli Cymru ym Mhencampwriaethau Pysgota Môr y Byd ac a orffennodd yn bedwerydd.

·         Diolchwyd i John Davies am oleuo’r gofeb rhyfel ar gyfer Sul y Cofio.

·         Congratulations were extended to Cllr. Carl Worrall’s wife, Pam, who had represented Wales at the Sea Angling World Championships and finished fourth.

·         Thanks were extended to John Davies for the lighting of the war memorial for Remembrance Sunday.

Byddai adolygiad yn cael ei gynnal a chyfarfod yn cael ei drefnu gyda changen Aberystwyth o’r Lleng Prydeinig Brenhinol ym mis Ionawr.

Diolchwyd i’r staff am eu gwaith.

A review would be held and a meeting arranged with the Aberystwyth branch of the Royal British Legion in January.

It was agreed to update the current training plan to include essential training that councillors should undertake as a basic requirement.

Committees to determine their own essential training requirements for members.

ARGYMHELLWYD diwygio a chadw’r hen blac, ynghyd â phrynu plac newydd i goffau’r cytundeb cyfeillgarwch newydd a arwyddwyd ar 9 Tachwedd 2023.

Bu ymweliad diweddar Maer Yosano yn llwyddiant mawr, a gwerthfawrogwyd gwaith y Cyngor. Diolchwyd i’r staff am eu gwaith.

It was RECOMMENDED that the old plaque be amended and kept, along with the purchase of a new plaque to commemorate the new friendship agreement signed on 9 November 2023.

The recent visit by the Yosano Mayor had been a great success, and the Council’s work had been appreciated. Staff were thanked for their work.

Cafwyd adroddiad ar lafar gan y Clerc ar drafodaethau’r grŵp gwaith brandio. Gofynnwyd i gynghorwyr i ystyried sut a phryd y dylid defnyddio arfbais y Cyngor Tref a logo Aberystwyth. Nodwyd bod y Cyngor Tref yn cael ei ariannu gan arian cyhoeddus, ac felly roedd gwelededd a chydnabyddiaeth o waith y Cyngor yn bwysig.

Cyflwynwyd syniadau amrywiol ar gyfer nwyddau fforddiadwy e.e. bagiau siopa papur, matiau diod, darnau arian troli, sticeri, beiros a phensiliau

A verbal report was provided by the Clerk on the discussions of the branding working group. Councillors were asked to consider how and when the Town Council crest and Aberystwyth logo should be used. It was noted that the Town Council was funded by public money, and as such visibility and recognition of the Council’s work was important.

Various ideas for affordable merchandise were presented e.g. paper carrier bags, coasters, trolley coins, stickers, pens and pencils

Derbyniwyd cais i ddefnyddio Parc Kronberg i gynnal gweithdy sgiliau sglefrfyrddio i bobl ifanc. Croesawyd hyn ar yr amod bod gan yr ymgeisydd yswiriant digonol ac asesiad risg.

A request had been received to use Parc Kronberg to hold a skateboarding skills workshop for young people. This was welcomed, subject to the applicant having sufficient insurance cover and a risk assessment.
