Mae’r Cyngor YN GWRTHWYNEBU’r cais am faes parcio ar sail:

•      colli gardd flaen o fewn ardal gadwraeth

•      Byddai’n gosod blaenoriaeth mewn rhes draddodiadol o dai.

•      materion dŵr wyneb a nodwyd gan Gyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, ond croesewir defnydd o ddeunyddiau mandyllog

Tra’n nodi’r angen am fynediad i’r anabl, mae’r cynllun a gyflwynwyd yn cynrychioli gormod o golled o ran gardd. Ni fyddai’r Cyngor yn gwrthwynebu creu dreif syth i ddarparu mynediad – y lled yn ymestyn o ymyl y llwybr presennol i’r wal bresennol ar yr ochr orllewinol. Byddai hyn yn caniatáu cadw’r ardd flaen a fyddai’n gweddu i dai cyfagos.

The Council OBJECTS to the application for a parking area based on:

·         the loss of a front garden within a conservation area

·         It would set a precedence in a traditional row of houses.

·         surface water issues noted by Natural Resources Wales, although the use of porous materials is welcomed

Whilst noting the need for disability access, the submitted plan represents too great a loss of garden space. The Council would not object to the creation of a straight driveway to provide access – the width extending from the existing path edge to the existing wall on the west side. This would allow for the retention of the front garden which would be in keeping with neighbouring houses.

The Council OBJECTS on the following basis:

·         It represents over-extension

·         It would result in a loss of green space

·         It would impair the view of the traditional style houses nearby

Tra’n gwerthfawrogi buddsoddiad parhaus y cwmni yn y dref a’i bresenoldeb ar y stryd fawr, mae’r Cyngor YN GWRTHWYNEBU’r arwyddion sydd wedi’u goleuo’n fewnol ac sydd yn uniaith Saesneg. Dylai’r peiriant ATM a’r arwyddion fod yn ddwyieithog gyda’r Gymraeg yn cael blaenoriaeth.

Whilst appreciating the company’s continued investment in the town and its high street presence, the Council OBJECTS to the internally illuminated and English only signage. The ATM machine and signage should be bilingual with Welsh given priority.

The Council cannot respond due to lack of information; it is unclear whether it is absolutely necessary to replace the slab.

The Council OBJECTS on the following basis:

•      It represents over development and cramming in terms of the number of bedrooms in the extension

•      Room sizes are too small – the Future Generations Act encourages housing that supports wellbeing

•      There is no waste storage

•      There is no bicycle storage

•       The effect on neighbouring houses is unclear but the properties appear to be tightly packed
