Mae gan y Cyngor Tref y pryderon canlynol:

• Sut mae Cyngor Ceredigion yn mynd i sicrhau diogelwch cerddwyr?
• Pa mor swnllyd yw’r offer awyru?
• Beth sy’n digwydd i’r Carbon Deuocsid sy’n cael ei greu? A fydd yn effeithio ar drigolion cyfagos?

The Town Council has the following concerns:

• How is Ceredigion Council going to ensure pedestrian safety?
• How noisy is the ventilation equipment?
• What happens to the Carbon Dioxide that is created? Will it affect neighbouring residents?

Tra’n croesawu’r egwyddor o ddod â’r Deva yn ôl i ddefnydd, mae’r Cyngor yn GWRTHWYNEBU’N GRYF oherwydd y canlynol:

• Nid yw’r newidiadau arfaethedig yn briodol ar gyfer adeilad hanesyddol mewn ardal cadwraeth ac y byddent yn weladwy o’r stryd.
• Dymchwel yr anecs hanesyddol o fewn ardal gadwraeth.
• Dymchwel y ffenestri dormer hanesyddol o fewn ardal gadwraeth
• Nid oes digon o le parcio ar gyfer nifer y fflatiau
• Nid oes storfa beiciau
• Ni roddir manylion am y tai fforddiadwy
• Dylai Ceredigion osod cyfyngiad ar y caniatâd cynllunio i sicrhau mai anheddau parhaol ydynt ac nid llety gwyliau

Whilst welcoming the principle of bringing the Deva back into use the Council STRONGLY OBJECTS because of the following:

• The proposed changes are not appropriate for a historic building in a conservation area and would be visible from the street.
• The demolition of the historic annex within a conservation area.
• The demolition of the historic dormer windows within a conservation area
• There is not enough parking for the number of flats
• There is no bike storage
• No detail is given for the affordable dwellings
• Ceredigion should place a restriction on the planning permission to ensure they are permanent dwellings and not holiday accommodation

Mae’r Cyngor Tref YN GWRTHWYNEBU’N GRYF oherwydd:

• mae’n mynd yn gwbl groes i egwyddorion ardal gadwraeth gyda cholli adeilad hanesyddol hardd.
• Nid oes tystiolaeth wirioneddol fod yr adeilad yn ansefydlog gan nad oes arolygon wedi eu cynnal.
• Bydd dyluniadau a gorffeniadau’r adeiladau newydd yn anghydnaws â’r adeiladau hanesyddol eraill
• Mae’n cynrychioli colli mwy o fannau gwyrdd.

The Town Council STRONGLY OBJECTS to the application as:

• it goes completely against the principles of a conservation area with the loss of a beautiful historic building.
• There is no real evidence that the building is unstable as no surveys have been carried out.
• The designs and finishes of the new builds will be out of keeping with the other historic buildings
• It represents the loss of more green space.
