Your Council
Aberystwyth Town Council is an elected statutory body, a local council whose commitment is solely for the town and community of Aberystwyth. The Town Council provides a number of services in the town and contributes financially towards services provided by other statutory bodies and organisations. The Town Council operates a committee structure to better organise its responsibilities and governance. Details about these committees such as their membership and functions are available.

Grants
We are proud to provide community grants to the Aberystwyth area. Our grants are made for the benefit of people and projects local to Aberystwyth. Playgrounds
The Town Council manages three playgrounds in Aberystywth; the Castle, Penparcau and Plascrug. We are committed to providing safe, fun and inclusive places for families to enjoy, and actively invest in the maintenance and expansion of our playgrounds.
Parks & Green Spaces
Aberystwyth Town Council is responsible for a variety of parks and green spaces within the town. This ranges from the beautiful Maes Gwenfrewi, to smaller pocket green spaces like those on Skinner Street or Mill Street.
