Pe bai’r arwyddion wedi’u goleuo’n fewnol yn cael eu tynnu o’r cais a’r testun yn cael ei ddiwygio er mwyn rhoi amlygrwydd priodol i’r Gymraeg, byddai’r Cyngor Tref yn croesawu’r cais.

The Town Council welcomes the return of the premises into commercial use, however OBJECTS to the proposed internally illuminated signage.

The Town Council also notes that the proposed signage includes the wording “Feel Good Foods” in English only. All signage and text, exempting the business name, should be provided bilingually, with priority given to the Welsh language (i.e. placed above or to the left of English text).

Should the internally illuminated signage be removed from the proposal and the text amended to provide appropriate prominence to the Welsh language, the Town Council would welcome the application.

The Town Council OBJECTS to the application due to the proposed demolition of the chimney, which forms part of the historic character and appearance of the property.

The Town Council welcomes the inclusion of solar panels within the proposal and would encourage the use of traditional building materials, such as timber windows, wherever possible. We also request that consideration is given to Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS)

Should the application be approved despite our concerns, we request that a condition is placed on the residences preventing them from being used as second homes or holiday accommodation
